The Loadek Pallet System was designed and engineered by Design Pallets Inc., which undertook the opportunity to revolutionize the pallet industry by offering a machine that could assemble corrugated pallets completely at point of use. This technology is a first in the packaging industry and provides assembly rates fast enough for the biggest customers while offering cost savings, through efficiencies, not realized in any other pallet system.
In order to compete in the competitive pallet market, a two piece corrugated pallet was designed, engineered and tested. The Loadek pallet design enables local corrugators throughout the world to run the die cut blanks and ship them to local customers flat, like boxes, enabling us to tap into the raw material quantities necessary to fulfill the largest customers in the country. The Loadek pallet design not only reduces raw materials, but allows for 100% machine assembly at point of use, eliminating hand labor and additional handling and overhead costs. Reducing the amount of raw materials, utilizing the infrastructure of corrugators to run the die cut blanks and shipping locally, and having a machine at point of use to assemble Loadek pallets gives the Loadek Pallet System unmatched cost savings.
In order to produce pallets fast enough for today’s largest customers, the Loadek machine was developed to feed, form and lock together the two die cut corrugated blanks. The Loadek machine essentially takes an entire pallet factory and places it at point of use with a machine that occupies less than 400 square feet. The Loadek machine was specifically developed to manufacture Loadek pallets at a rate that would allow corrugated pallets to penetrate the largest part of the pallet market, fast moving consumables. The Loadek Pallet System is “efficient shipping.”
